Embrace were a post-hardcore and early emo group from Washington D.C. and this is their only album. Made up of Ian Mackaye (Minor Threat, Fugazi), and Faith members Michael Hampton, Ivor Hanson, and Chris Bald, the group played a grand total of nine gigs and were about for barely a year. Their self-titled debut will appeal to fans of the Dischord label, Dag Nasty, Rites of Spring, and Indian Summer.
