GREY HAIRS "Colossal Downer"
Our newest release is the first long-player release from Nottingham quartet/self-help group Grey Hairs. Conceived as 2 EPs ("Man Gulps" and "Little Fingers") for your listening convenience (we're all busy people), Colossal Downer recalls nothing less than the pre-goldrush, anything-goes era of Nirvana before everyone got so hung up on genre definition. Rapid-fire punk rock blasters nestle up to lumbering caveman grind. Echoey surf clang shares vinyl space with riff-heavy garage fuzz. It's how records are meant to be: idiosyncratic and representative of the people who made them.

Released on 170g Orange vinyl, grab one of the 495 copies while they last!

Have a watch of their excellent video for Anxiety Dream that captures a typical GY practice:

RELEASES!
A quick run down of our more recent releases in case you've missed them…

THE WHARVES "At Bay"
London based three-piece The Wharves combine gracefully minimal psyche-rock with fuzzed out folk. They invoke the reverberated spook of 60s girl groups, the mid-fi guitar crunch of Kim Deal's The Amps, the vocal flavours of The Roches and the narrative and structural panache of 70's progressive folk. "At Bay" is right up there with the best Gringo have ever released

THAT F**KING TANK "A Document of The Last Set"
Released to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Leeds/Bradford-based alternative/noise rock duo, the album is a raw account of the live set that TFT have been playing all over the UK and Europe for the last few years, comprising tunes from their back catalogue performed as one unrelenting track. The album was captured with the minimum of retakes and postproduction resulting in an authentic document of a band who have upheld a reputation as one of the must-see bands on the UK underground circuit.

BROKEN ARM "Life Is Short"
Broken Arm's debut full length is an exercise in grooving noise rock, filth and disillusionment. They have the perfect knack for writing a catchy post punk tune and smearing a healthy amount of dirt all over it. Once described by the band themselves as agro-party punk, Broken Arm's sound is frequently compared to that of various US hardcore punk bands, primarily from the rosters of AMRep, Touch & Go and SST Records. Ltd to 300 copies on clear 180g vinyl.
